Listening Meditation · created for this project

Breathing with the Heart Sutra

A short listening pause that uses breath and a licensed recitation as supports for attention.

  1. Find a stable, comfortable posture.
  2. Let the breath remain natural; there is no need to control it.
  3. Listen for the beginning, continuation, and fading of each phrase.
  4. When attention wanders, return gently to sound and breath.

Created by Scripture in Sound as a modern educational exercise. It is not presented as a traditional Heart Sutra ritual or lineage instruction.
